Jenny Smith

Jenny's home church is Broadway Baptist Church in Derby. After working in a bookshop and a publishing company, Jenny first started teaching in Hungary in 1992.

From 1998 to 2009 she was at the Hungarian Baptist Theology Academy in Budapest, involved mainly in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) to students. However, this year, her assignment has ended and she has returned to England. The Hungarian students whom she taught are training to be ministers, lay leaders and mission workers, or to be involved in care work in the community. Jenny also ran a Bible study group in English and a singles group for Hungarians.

She enjoys reading fiction, needlework, sketching, knitting, watching films and listening to music, as well as country walks.
